In the Evolène region, campervans are only allowed in campsites. Parking outside of these places dedicated to campervans exposes you to a fine of CHF 500.00, according to article 54 of the communal regulations:

"Camping, caravanning and similar activities are prohibited outside the authorised sites expressly designated as such by the authority.

 In case of infringement, you will be fined, and your stay will cost you much more than a night at the campsite, where you will enjoy all the necessary amenities and all the help you might need in case of an unexpected event.
