This corner of paradise at an altitude of 2010m offers you a timeless experience in one of the most beautiful spots in the Val d'Hérens. Surrounded by arolla and larch trees, 

Our new menu takes you on a journey of discovery of local flavours and we favour short circuits by giving pride of place to local producers.

The restaurant is open from 10 am and continuously until 11 pm. Your perfect break at any time after your hike.
The Arolles garden is also the starting point for the Arolles educational trail, which takes you through the ancient forest of the Grand Hotel & Kurhaus.

Bistrot le Carnotzet:

The carnotzet is the place to be for an aperitif or a coffee! On cooler evenings, this friendly bistro invites you to spend an evening by the fireplace or to hang out with friends over a glass of Valais wine.
Our wine list, l'ivresse des sommets, offers you a choice of good grape varieties grown at altitude. 

We also serve traditional Swiss and Valaisan dishes to delight all palates and desires and to help you discover local products.
The restaurant is open from 10:00 am and continuously until 11:00 pm. 


Honorine dining room :

In homage to the founder of the Kurhaus, we have chosen the name of Honorine for this historic dining room which transports you to the beginning of the century.
Its nostalgic and timeless atmosphere is a perfect conclusion to your day in Arolla.

Our chef offers you dishes that combine delicacy and balance and a varied choice of flavours according to the seasons.
We do not forget the local products and do our best to make sure you have a delicious evening.

L'Honorine awaits you in the evening from 6.30 pm on the reception floor, after a small aperitif in our bars or on the terrace.
