The High Road through the valleys - 6 day tour

Discover the Haute Route through the valleys. A hike from Nendaz to Zermatt in 6, 7 or 8 days through the most beautiful side valleys of the Valais: Val d'Hérens, Anniviers, Turtmanntal and Zermatt.


Stage 1: Nendaz - Grande Dixence dam.
Overnight at the Hôtel du Barrage

Stage 2: Grande Dixence dam - Arolla.
Overnight in Arolla: Hôtel de La Tza - Grand Hôtel Kurhaus - Hôtel du Pigne - Hôtel du Glacier

Stage 3: Arolla - La Sage (possible stage by bus with direct passage to stage 4 - www.cff.ch)
Night at the Hotel de La Sage 

Stage 4: La Sage - Val d'Anniviers
Night in Grimentz or Zinal. 

Stage 5: Grimentz/Zinal - St-Luc (possible stage by bus with direct passage to stage 6 - www.cff.ch)
Overnight in St-Luc (Hotel Weisshorn) 

Stage 6: Hotel Weisshorn - Gruben 
Overnight in Gruben (Hotel Schwarzhorn)

Stage 7 : Gruben - St Niklaus
Night in St-Niklaus

Stage 8: St-Niklaus - Zermatt

Approximate price: CHF 600 to CHF 1100, including guide, transport, overnight stay and meals per person.
