You can reach the Pic d'Artsinol (2998m) from Evolène via Lannaz (5h30), via Le Vernec (5h20) or from Les Haudères (5h30).
In the first case, you will take a path through various hamlets (Flanmayens, Barati, Chalet Vieux) and will have the opportunity to admire the traditional mayens. From Les Haudères, you will see the magnificent Lac d'Arbey before reaching La Vouasson (2086m) and the breathtaking view of its Glacier and the Pas d'Arpilles (2436m).
Along the way there is a magnificent view of the Dent-Blanche. Once you reach the Pic d'Artsinol, you will have an exceptional panorama of the Val des Dix and the Grande Dixence dam.
Do you like the altitude, but not the long hikes? Save time and kilometres by using the Chemeuille chairlift! The outward journey will be reduced to 5 km - so 10 km return, with 900 metres of positive difference in altitude and 20 metres of negative difference in altitude. To reach the Pic d'Artsionol, count on 2h45 of walking and the same time for the return, downhill.
