"Drawing Without Expectations"
In Eastern traditions, what matters most in artistic practice is the present moment. Being fully present with what already exists, while letting go of the need for a particular outcome, brings a sense of freedom to the exploration of drawing.
Meeting point: 4:00 pm in front of Hôtel de La Sage
Tuesday, 21 July | 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
"Stones and Water"
Meeting point: 10:00 am in Ferpècle (Bus 381 terminus)
Approach hike: 60 minutes
- 11:00 am – 12:30 pm: Drawing session
- 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Picnic (bring your own lunch)
- 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm: Drawing session
- 5:00 pm: Refreshment stop at Le Petit Paradis
- 6:00 pm: Bus departure from Ferpècle to Les Haudères
Wednesday, 22 July | 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
"Wandering Journal"
A drawing walk along Francine Carillod's Contemplative Trail.
A 1½-hour walk with regular stops to create a poetic travel journal, collecting the treasures discovered along the way. So much beauty to capture!
Wednesday, 22 July | 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm
"Colours at Dusk"
Meditative drawing at sunset.
Meeting point: 7:30 pm in front of Restaurant des Collines (La Sage), from where we will walk up a small path to a grassy viewpoint. There, in silence, we will draw the mysterious transition of the evening light.

Thursday, 23 July | 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
"Nomadic Drawing in the Forest"
Light filters through the trees and reaches deep into the forest. Along the way, the morning pause reveals the subtle scent of larch resin and the call of a jay. If you wish, you may walk barefoot on a carpet of pine needles while capturing the vitality of the woodland in charcoal.
Meeting point: 9:50 am at La Forclaz bus stop
