Cow of Hérens according to Derib

The Val d'Hérens is the country of the cow breed of the same name!



Discover on the heights of Evolène in the pastures of Chemeuille, where we will go up by chairlift (think of your Magic Pass), the work of the breeders of this race as well as the manufacture of their very famous raclette cheese.



The landscapes will be in the spotlight with the Dent-Blanche and the Matterhorn to name but two, but also the drawings because the path is lined with panels sketched by Derib illustrating all the stages of the desalp!



You will meet Derib at the Auberge de Lannaz to share a delicious raclette with him.



The icing on the cake is that you will leave with a copy of "Tu seras Reine", signed by Derib, plunging you into the universe of the Hérens breed.



After this meal I will invite you to the inauguration of another trail on the heritage built in the central street of Evolène, accompanied by Dominique de Ribaupierre and Derib who have made all the drawings illustrating this trail!
