Camping d'Arolla

Following a cantonal decision related to natural hazard risks, the Arolla campsite was permanently closed on July 13, 2025. This closure follows an official assessment concerning the safety of the area directly affected by the campsite.

In collaboration with the municipality of Evolène and the Tourist Office, a temporary camping area is now open in Arolla, right next to the Hôtel-Restaurant Aiguille de la Tza.

Dedicated space for camper vans and converted vehicles
Mobile toilets on site
Showers available at the Hôtel Aiguille de la Tza for CHF 8.-

For tents, the valley campsites welcome you:
- Camping Molignon (Les Haudères)
- Camping Evolène

A small space is reserved for hikers with tents passing through Arolla.

Rates:
- Camper vans, vans: CHF 20/night + tourist tax (CHF 1.10/adult – CHF 0.55/child)
- Hikers’ tents: CHF 15/night + tourist tax

The area will remain in place until further notice.
