Winter is here, I propose you a workshop about avalanche safety.
From the parking of the Arolla ski lifts, we will go with snowshoes to Pra-Gra, a small hamlet on the heights, to realize this workshop / excerice.
It will be accompanied by a small fondue to warm up!
to know how to read and understand the avalanche danger bulletin on the White Risk appication
learn to apply it on the field
decipher the signs on the ground
discover how the snow cover is composed
know how to use your safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe)
search exercise
