An Open Day, featuring a guided tour on the history of the Maison and a visit to the exhibition ‘Living with the Moving Mountains’ (4 July–17 October 2026), on 25 July from 11.00 am, at the Maison des Alpes, La Fauchère, Evolène. This interactive exhibition offers you an immersive experience into the world of mountain hut wardens, farmers, natural hazard observers, residents and herdsmen of the Val d’Hérens and Glarus.
