Exceptional parking arrangement for motorhomes

Due to the reduced capacity of the campsites within the municipal area, the Municipality of Evolène is introducing an exceptional parking arrangement for motorhomes and self-contained vehicles.

Campsites remain the priority option. The parking areas may only be used once all three of the municipality's campsites are full.

How to benefit from it

Before parking, you must register with one of the partner campsites or at the Evolène Tourist Office.

The rate is CHF 15.– per night, plus the visitor's tax (CHF 1.10 per adult and CHF 0.55 per child aged 6 to 15).

You will be issued an official permit (macaron). It must be displayed clearly on the windscreen and is valid for one night only.

Important information

• Overnight parking only.
• No water or electricity connections.
• Public toilets are available.
• Checks are carried out regularly.
• Please respect the site, the neighbourhood and the signage in place.

This arrangement makes it possible to welcome visitors in good conditions while curbing wild camping and preserving the municipality's natural sites.

If the experience of one or more nights in a natural setting tempts you, you've come to the right place. There's nothing better to experience a return to your roots, while enjoying pleasant amenities.
Please note that according to article 54 of the communal regulations: "camping, caravanning and similar activities are forbidden outside the authorized sites expressly designated as such by the authority". In case of infringement you risk a fine of up to 500 CHF.
